About the role

We have a vacancy for an experienced Litho Press Operator to run our modern Heidelberg XL-75 five colour presses. The role requires working a 37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday over an early/late rotating shift pattern.

Essential requirements

• Experienced press operator with great technical and colour knowledge.
• Be mechanically minded and experienced in handling paper
• Be quality aware and have a keen eye for detail
• Have the ability to work safely under your own initiative with a strong problem-solving attitude
• Experience of Heidelberg InPress Control and/or LEUV printing would be an advantage

Work pattern: Monday to Friday (early/late rotating shift pattern between 6.00am – 10.00pm)

Digital Print Manager

About The Role

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Digital Print Manager to run our busy digital department. The successful candidate will manage the flow of jobs to ensure on-time completion, to the right quality.

Reports to the Production Director.

Key Duties

• General management and ownership of the Digital section and supervision of the team.
• Coordination and planning of printing and finishing all digital jobs, to ensure efficient production and on-time completion.
• Final quality control for the department, ensuring all jobs will meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Managing stock levels of paper and finishing-related consumables.
• Managing maintenance schedules to ensure machines are kept in good condition.
• Working with the digital team to ensure a clean, tidy and organised department.

Essential Criteria

• Experience and excellent working knowledge of the digital printing process
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ideally, sound knowledge of the repro, print and finishing processes as a whole.

General Expectation

To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, and to ensure that you are familiar with the Health and Safety guidance in place. You will be working in a busy environment, and you will be expected to undertake such other duties as required for the effective operation of Fine Print Services Ltd. You may also need to undertake training in other roles to facilitate holiday and sickness cover when necessary.

Location: The role is based at our factory premises in Range Road, Witney, OX29 0YA

Work pattern: This is a full-time, non-overtime role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).

Salary: £35-£38k per annum depending on experience.

Delivery Van Driver

About The Role

We have a permanent, full-time vacancy for a delivery van driver.

In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations in our company van, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent service to our customers.

You will need to have held a full driving licence for a minimum of four years that allows for driving a standard 3.5 tonne Volkswagen Crafter.

The standard hours of work are from 8.00am to 4.30pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) although there needs to be flexibility around this, with a frequent requirement for earlier starts.

Key Duties

A typical day will involve driving around 200 miles, delivering to customers primarily throughout the Southeast and Central regions.

You will need to:

• Load, secure, and unload cargo with precision, ensuring all items are transported without damage
• Navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to meet delivery schedules
• Communicate clearly with our despatch teams regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during routes
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and documentation for each shipment

Our drivers deliver direct to our customers and are ambassadors of Fine Print. You will be presentable, articulate, conscientious and always prepared to go that extra mile, sometimes literally.

You will be provided with a branded Fine Print shirt/fleece/coat.

It is a requirement that the van is kept at Fine Print overnight and at weekends so you will need the ability to get to and from our factory premises in Witney each day.
