These ‘slide to open’ boxes were our solution for packaging two devices given to us by our customer. We designed the sliding mechanism, which gives a satisfying click on closing, and has an information leaflet that folds out from the top, meaning that it will always be part of the box and never be mislaid.
A prototype was created for which we supplied the cutter guide to our customer. Our customers own creative agency used this to lay down their artwork. 1000 were litho printed on 350gsm folding box board and all elements were silk laminated. A gloss spot UV was added to enhance the design.
