Print Plants Trees

The art of Fine Print is our way of sharing and showcasing just some of the fantastic things we can do with print. So we decided to take print back to its roots and highlight how print is actually driving the planting of trees and how the future of paper is brighter than you may think. Keep reading to find our more…

Paper is incredible – uniquely it’s both a renewable and sustainable product, with the raw material (trees) being grown and harvested in a carefully controlled and sustainable way. Here at Fine Print we’re continually investing in green solutions for both our day-to-day business practices as well as what we can offer our customers. We are committed to making sure that your print is achieved with minimal impact on the environment and are proud to have achieved FSC C007881 and ISO14001 certification. From FSC paper, to standard recycled stocks, including papers created from  cocoa bean husks, there are many ways to help make a difference. It’s a great idea to also include the FSC logo and recyclable logo on your print too. Of course paper cannot be recycled indefinitely as fibres get too short and worn out. Virgin fibres from sustainably managed forests are needed to maintain the paper cycle, which also significantly contributes to the carbon cycle and tackling climate change.

There is a lot to feel positive about when it comes to paper and print;

  • Paper is made from a renewable resource and will eventually biodegrade
  • The paper industry is one of the biggest users of renewable energy
  • You don’t have to compromise on quality or performance by using ‘green’ paper.

“59% of European consumers believe that European forests are shrinking, when they are in fact growing by an area equivalent to 1,500 football pitches every day.” Two Sides survey, 2019

Our latest art of Fine Print mailer shares further fascinating facts and statistics, you can find out more and share the love for paper by visiting Two Sides

If you’ve fully digested all the info on the folded mailer, don’t forget to display the beautiful forest poster on the reverse and display it with pride knowing that the print you buy is helping to plant trees to help protect the future of paper, print and the planet.
