Paper is incredible – uniquely it’s both a renewable and sustainable product, with the raw material (trees) being grown and harvested in a carefully controlled and sustainable way. Here at Fine Print we’re continually investing in green solutions for both our day-to-day business practices as well as what we can offer our customers. We are committed to making sure that your print is achieved with minimal impact on the environment and are proud to have achieved FSC® C007881 and ISO14001 certification. From FSC certified paper, to standard recycled stocks, including papers created from cocoa bean husks, there are many ways to help make a difference. It’s a great idea to also include the FSC logo and recyclable logo on your print too. Of course paper cannot be recycled indefinitely as fibres get too short and worn out. Virgin fibres from sustainably managed forests are needed to maintain the paper cycle, which also significantly contributes to the carbon cycle and tackling climate change.
There is a lot to feel positive about when it comes to paper and print;
- Paper is made from a renewable resource and will eventually biodegrade
- The paper industry is one of the biggest users of renewable energy
- You don’t have to compromise on quality or performance by using ‘green’ paper.
