Coronavirus – A book for children

By May 5, 2020May 11th, 2020Blog, Home
When we heard that the amazing team at Oxford Hospitals Charity and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust wanted some printed copies of this book, donating our time and equipment felt like a lovely way to say thank you for the incredible work they are doing for us all right now. The book had been put together as a free download by an amazing group of people including children’s publisher Nosy Crow and illustrator Axel Scheffler. It beautifully and simply looks to answer the questions a child may have about the virus, and the impact it is having on family life.
Downloads are great, but nothing feels quite the same as a gorgeous book to hold, feel and read with a child. We are a massive fan of Oxford Hospitals Charity, several of the Fine Print team and their families having been served incredibly and selflessly by the Oxfordshire hospitals over recent years. The charity purchased the paper and we were delighted to do the rest for free, the books are now helping young patients and children of hospital staff understand more about the virus and the impact it is having on their lives.
