Cool Timelapse – Our new Low Energy UV Press

We were pretty excited when three articulated trucks arrived with our new press, directly from the Heidelberg factory in Germany – six days later the press is built, and ready for training to commence.

The new machine, a Heidelberg XL75 – LE (Low Energy) UV press eliminates the need for coatings, curing the ink instantly and enabling us to commence immediate finishing. The process also helps eliminate the absorption of ink into uncoated papers, giving a more punchy and vibrant image – we can’t wait to show our customers the results when the press goes into full production in a couple of weeks.
